A simple three part recipe for a not so simple decadent delicious bite of vanilla pastry cream and chocolate put together in the perfect little container that is choux pastry.

This puff of goodness satisfies many a moods be it with coffee in the morning or dessert at night.  Perhaps first created by the pastry chef of French queen Catherine de Medici in the 1540’s but as with all good things the origins are often myth.  The mystery of the cream puff remains mystery but its reputation remains consistent over many many years.  It’s just so damn good!
